Our story

We looked for one app that could help with all of it, for both of us, and couldn't find one. So we built it.

We're Jennifer and Tim. Jennifer lives with Parkinson's, and after 25 years of marriage we know it all: the good days, the Off days, and the days when pills, appointments and worry feel like a full-time job.

Red Tulip is the companion we wished we had. It keeps track of the little things so you can spend more of your day on the big ones.

Our mission: to help everyone living with Parkinson's, and the people who love them, feel less alone and more in charge, one steady day at a time.

How much does it cost?

Red Tulip is free, including medicine alarms, the diary, the hospital card and the doctor report. An optional Red Tulip Plus with extras is planned for later.

Does it replace my doctor?

No. Red Tulip helps you keep track and be ready for visits. Always ask your doctor before changing any medicine, supplement, diet or exercise.

What phones and computers does it work on?

It's coming first to Android phones and tablets, and to any web browser on a computer. iPhone will follow.

Can my husband, wife or kids use it with me?

Yes. Start a care circle and share a code. Everyone sees the same medicines and diary, and a shared tablet can switch between people with one tap.

Will the alarm ring if my phone is locked?

That's the plan for the app store version, which will use real phone notifications. Keep a pill box with its own alarm as a backup.

These are 10 early signs the Parkinson's Foundation lists. Having one or two is common and often has another cause. This checklist can't tell you whether you have Parkinson's. Only a doctor can. It can help you decide whether to talk to one, and what to bring.

Did symptoms start suddenly, over minutes or hours?

Sudden weakness, a drooping face, trouble speaking, confusion or sudden trouble walking can be signs of a stroke. Call 911 right away. Don't wait to finish this checklist.
